Dr. Perl, a native of Richardson, Texas, is board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) and subspecialty boarded in Pain Medicine. Dr. Perl received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She went on to obtain her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas during which time she also completed an Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Fellowship. Her postgraduate studies included: a one year rotating internship, followed by a three year residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals & Clinics in Madison, Wisconsin followed by an additional year fellowship in Pain Management and Spinal Intervention in Atlanta, Georgia. She is experienced in a number of specialty areas, including diagnosis and conservative treatment of musculoskeletal and soft tissue injuries, joint injections, spinal injections, and chronic pain management. She has been in private practice for over twenty years. Dr. Perl specializes in the comprehensive non-operative management of musculoskeletal disorders including interventional fluoroscopic guided procedures including outpatient injections, spinal cord stimulators, and most exciting new to her practice innovative technology Discseel, opioid and non-opioid pharmacotherapy and acute, chronic, and postoperative chronic pain conditions and electrodiagnostics including EMG and NCS. Outside of the office, Dr. Perl is an active Girl Scout volunteer and enjoys referring and coaching youth soccer. She is an avid animal lover and dog rescuer fostering dogs from local shelters. She enjoys spending time with her pets, working out, sailing, dancing, and travelling abroad. Her professional memberships include the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine.
