Dr. Maita, recently from the Mayo Clinic, Scottsdale, is nationally known by physicians for teaching them to prepare and pass their Specialty Board Examination. He is a Fellowship trained Interventional Spine Specialist, with advanced training alongside Dr. Kevin Pauza, following his Fellowship training. Dr. Maita is dedicated to “patient-centered” care, providing advanced diagnostic and Regenerative Medicine treatments for low back and neck pain and joint pain, including hip, knee, shoulder, and other joints. He currently treats patients at Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona and at the Pauza Spine Institute in Dallas, Texas under the tutelage of Kevin Pauza MD. Dr. Maita received his Medical Doctorate at Midwestern University, followed by his Anesthesiology Residency at the University of Texas in San Antonio. His exceptional clinical skills and dedication to patients were acknowledged by his receiving the prestigious Gold Humanism Award during his Residency. Next, Dr. Maita pursued his advanced Fellowship training in Interventional Spine at the Mayo Clinic, where he received the Above and Beyond Award for his outstanding patient care. To further advance his skills and expertise, he worked under renowned Interventional Spine Specialist, Kevin Pauza MD, at the Pauza Spine Institute in Dallas. His focus was in using the most advanced options available, including the Discseel Procedure and other cellular therapies unavailable at most other centers, for spine and joint pain.
