Dr. Doug Tucker is an experienced medical professional specializing in interventional spine and pain medicine. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biological Engineering from Louisiana State University in 2008 and a Doctor of Medicine degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in 2012. Following his medical education, Dr. Tucker completed a residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and a fellowship in Pain Medicine. During residency, he also earned a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Mississippi School of Business. Dr. Tucker has held various positions and participated in a wide range of ventures, including serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, participating in numerous technology based startups, founding a startup studio for early stage ideas and company development, starting a real estate investment and holding company, and starting a partnership-based medical network. Currently, he is a partner at Mississippi’s Pain Institute, PLLC which he founded, and continues with multiple projects in various fields. Dr. Tucker is board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He is an active member of multiple professional societies, including the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the American Medical Association.
