As anesthesiologist constantly dealing with the relief of pain and total care of surgical patients, Dr. Yasuyuki Nonaka has always been aware of the fact that chronic pain can not only seriously affect the patient’s daily activities and quality of life, but often go beyond just the physical and impact patient’s mental health. Treating disc degeneration related diseases for years made him strongly believe that minimal invasive procedures benefit the patient as well as the hospital due to their greater efficiency and potential for optimal outcomes and need to be actively promoted. His passion for learning from the best, refusing to go with the flow and implementing new, less-invasive and progressive procedures naturally led him to the decision to sacrifice his well-established position and open his own clinic where he can truly make a difference by allowing those state-of-art methods become widely available to patients throughout Japan and Asia.
