Glenn C. Terry, M.D., received his undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, and his medical school degree from UT Southwestern in Dallas. Dr. Terryās residency and subsequent specialty training in Orthopedic Surgery were completed in San Antonio, Texas. After completing his Orthopedic Training, Dr. Terry moved to Logan, Utah, where he developed a fascination with Sports Medicine through his dedication to athletes in region. Dr. Terry was one of the first orthopedic surgeons who recognized and utilized the benefits of minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery instead of open procedures.
Dr. Terry traveled with some of his athletes to see the āFather of Sports Medicineā, Dr. Jack Hughston, at the Hughston Clinic in Columbus, GA. Dr. Hughston offered Dr. Terry a fellowship position for Sports Medicine at the Hughston Clinic. Soon after, Glenn C. Terry, M.D. moved his family to Columbus, GA and practiced alongside Dr. Hughston at the Hughston Clinic. Through his global educational presentations, extensive research experience, and more than 100 published papers, Dr. Terry continues to impact the field of Orthopedic Sports Medicine.
